Elegida internamente, la banda Lovebugs representará a Suiza en Moscú. Tras no pasar a la final con el gran Paolo Meneguzzi y su magnifica Era Stupendo (para mi, claro), Suiza confía en la canción The highest heights para que este grupo de pop rock los lleve a lo más alto el sábado 16.
La canción suiza es una de las mas modernas de esta edición. Una canción actual bastante parecido al estilo de numerosos grupos de pop rock como Coldplay. A mi personalmente me gusta bastante la canción por ser distinta al resto y que este estilo de música se acerca bastante a mis gustos personales. Pero dudo del papel que puedan hacer en el festival.
A eso habrá que añadirle el directo que puedan hacer…

Pues les deseo mucha suerte en Moscú. Suiza se merece pasar ya de entrada por haberla eliminado el año pasado con mi canción favorita de la edición: Era Stupendo.

Y lo dicho, espero que pase a la final para que haya variedad. Algo actual se agradece también.
Dinamarca – Believe again (Niels Brinck)
Y otro país que el año pasado me encantaba y este año no me desagrada tampoco. Tras All night long, que dio la sorpresa en Serbia colándose en la final, Dinamarca, quiere ganar. Para ello, ya que el año pasado creyeron en Rusia con la canción Believe, quieren que este año crean en Dinamarca. Qué mejor que con una canción titulada Believe Again (algo así como creer otra vez, o creer de nuevo) para conseguirlo. El interprete: Niels Brinck.
Esta fue una de las primeras canciones que aparecieron este año. En su momento se comento que haría un gran papel pero la cosa se ha ido enfriando poco a poco y ahora se situa en los puestos medios de la tabla en las encuestas.

A mi la canción me gusta bastante también. No me importaría que pasará a la final. Lo que Europa vote, es otra cosa. En mi opinión, sí que pasará (viendo las otras canciones de la segunda semifinal) pero obviamente, no es esta la canción que ganará Eurovision.

Con el juego de palabras del título o sin él, espero que Dinamarca haga un buen papel este año. Suerte!
Finlandia – Lose control (Waldo’s people)
Y ya van dos años los que Finlandia no me gusta. La banda del año pasado Teräsbetoni no me hacia nada de gracia aunque la canción podía oírla algunas veces. Pues, este año me pasa lo mismo. No me gustan Waldo’s people ni Lose control (aunque la he oído algunas veces)
Lo dicho, no sé por qué esta canción es tan bien acogida por los eurofans cuando me parece una canción de lo más normal (no sé si calificarla de vulgar) pero no le veo nada en especial.
Tipica canción de discoteca “chunda-chunda” y con los típicos cantantes pegando botes y saltando en el escenario. No me gusta lo siento.

Su directo, tampoco es que sea para tirar cohetes. He de decir que esta canción tiene el mismo efecto en mí que This is my life de Islandia el año pasado. No me gustó nunca aunque no me disgustó en el escenario. Tambien creo que les pasará como a DJ Bobo de 2007 que intentaran montar muchas cosas en el escenario y las voces no son muy buenas (sobretodo las femeninas).

Pero bueno, como sabemos, despues del festival todo cambia. Veremos si cambia mi opinión. Aunque realmente no es un no me gusta radical por que la canción la oigo a veces. Digamos que estoy indeciso aunque no han conseguido convencerme aun. De todas formas, estará en la final si nadie lo remedia.
